Project Description

The redevelopment of the Bermuda airport represents one of the most important capital projects ever undertaken the island. It will play a crucial role in the renaissance of the Bermuda economy. The project will add a new terminal and other necessary extensions to accommodate the forecast growth in traffic. The project is comprised of the following components: • New passenger terminal building; • Refurbishment and partial demolition of the existing passenger terminal building; • Airside development; • Groundside development; • Miscellaneous airside structures and facilities.

Ontario’s Court of Justice will vacate Old City Hall in 2021, making way for the city to build a new, Toronto-centric museum inside the 129-year-old Romanesque Revival building. The new courthouse will bring together several of Toronto’s Ontario Court of Justice criminal courts operating across the city. The amalgamation will reduce costs, make operations more efficient, sustainable and accessible for all.

Redundant power distribution system, fire alarm system, digital revenue approved metering system, central web-based lighting control system, infrastructure for ICT, security and AV systems, power and infrastructure for baggage handling system (BHS), passenger screening equipment.

ICT

Structural cabling system, network, WIFI/wireless network, telephone system, common use passenger processing systems (CUPPS), common use self service (CUSS).

Lighting

Energy efficient architectural lighting design throughout all areas of the airport.

Security

Access control, video surveillance, duress system and panic alert, intercommunications.
