Audio Visual design services were provided for a complete public address and airport wide paging system. Special care was taken to ensure speech intelligibility was high and mounting locations were carefully coordinated with the architectural and electrical team.
Electrical: Electrical engineering services were provided for the design of a new terminal wide fire alarm system with connections back to the existing T1 fire alarm system as well as a local airside fire station.
Building intelligence engineering services were provided to allow for the seamless integration and interaction with over forty (40) building and airport operations specific systems. A passenger experience mobile application specific for the new T2 was designed and implemented.
ICT engineering services were provided to allow for a terminal wide building converged network for all building, airport and tenant systems. The new T2 network was extended and routed to the existing T1 network to allow for seamless operations across both terminals with a common new data centre in T2.
Security engineering services were provided terminal wide for both building electronic security systems and airport specialty security systems including access control, video surveillance, panic, duress, intercommunications, metal detection, bomb detection, vehicle inspection and Xray.
